Welcome to my past papers website!
I have recently finished college and entered university; what inspired me to create this website was the fact that I could never find all the past papers such as the GCSE papers or AS papers to revise fom and do the questions in one place. The OCR or Edexcel website never had the complete database. Not only that, but the mark schemes were hard to get as well.
The most effective way of getting the past papers mark schemes was infact to ask my teachers for it. Of course they had it available for everyone to look at but it meant I could only use them at school.
At around this time, I also realized that past papers are indeed the best way to revise! For example, all revision I did for one of my AS ICT exam, one of the biggest module was 2 days before the actual exam. I was lucky at the time because the exam board we were using were AQA and they had all papers available. Guess what I did - I complete every single past paper exam I could find from past years AND with the mark scheme in front of me.
Yes, and it helped so much that I got 100% in that exam with a two day revision; and I wasn’t the best in class either. That is how effective the past papers are because they get you used to the type of questions asked. Therefore, your brain can autonomically detect a question in the real exam if it was answered before.
The past papers site was arised as a result of this - I thought I should share the power of having all the past papers and mark schemes at your fingertips with you so you can also achieve great exam results!
So please recommend the past papers site to your friends, teachers and colleagues if you think it helped you. Of course, our database will never be quite 100% complete but I do try my best to update it as often as I can even though I’m busy with other projects and studies myself.
